What is the Potters Bar Bereavement Visiting Service?
This is a free service available to anyone who feels they need someone to listen to them in their time of loss. A volunteer who is trained will visit you in your home to offer a listening ear and support following your bereavement. This service is not unique, similar groups across the country are helping many people.
It is a non-sectarian, non-denominational and non-political service, which has been actively supporting people in Potters Bar for over 12 years.
Who is the service for?
The service is available to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one; a brother or sister, parents or child, husband, wife or partner, a work colleague, friend of pet. You may have experienced that loss recently, or maybe some event has sparked off feelings from years ago that were never able to come to the surface before.
