Post natal appointments and 6 week baby checks can be booked with the GP in advance -“ please note that we can not immunise baby until this check has been done. Post natal examinations and baby checks should be carried out between 6 and 8 weeks after delivery.
During your postnatal care you will find out about feeding, potty training, illnesses, safety and more. You will be able to ask your health visitor questions and request advice.
