Mental Health
Violet Nyagwande is our mental health nurse who will work across all three PB practices and she works with us all day Thursday and a Friday afternoon. She is able to help with most mental health concerns for anyone over 18 including Functional mental health, Drug and alcohol use/Dual diagnosis, ADHD screening, Eating Disorders and Medication reviews. Appointments can be booked via the reception team.
Pharmacists
Bhavika Popat and Prina Aminare clinical pharmacists within our surgery, they help to resolve day-to-day medicine issues, medication reviews and treat patients directly. This includes providing help to manage long-term conditions, advising those taking multiple medicines and delivering clinical advice about treatments. Appointments can be booked via the reception team.
Physiotherapist
Callum East is our in-house Physiotherapist, he can help to assess and advise on your problem, you can see a First Contact Physiotherapist who will…
– Assess you and diagnose what’s happening – Give expert advice on how best to manage your condition
– Recommend exercises and other approaches to deal with the issue
– Refer you on to physiotherapy or other specialist services, if necessary.
Health Visitors
The health visiting team is based in Elstree Way Clinic and aims to provide advice and a sympathetic, professional support service to those people with young families. They are able to offer guidance in all aspects of child development including feeding, coping with crying babies, postnatal depression and health education advice.

Midwives
There is a weekly antenatal clinic at Highview Medical Centre on Tuesday mornings . After an initial consultation with the GP all expectant mothers are invited to see the midwife at the surgery on a regular basis. Antenatal care at Highview is shared between the GP and the midwife team.
Postnatal care and six-week baby checks are provided by the GP by pre-bookable appointments
